San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles
September 19th – 1:00 pm ET – Lincoln Financial Field
The Philadelphia Eagles’ kicked off the season in style last week with a massive win over the Atlanta Falcons on the road. They play their first home game of the season against the 49ers on Sunday, in a game they will feel they have to win in order to keep momentum going.
Many picked San Francisco to go all the way to the Super Bowl this season and it isn’t difficult to see why. They have one of the most dominant offenses in the league and it was on full display in week one when the 49ers put 41 points on the board against the Detroit Lions.
This game should be a fairly close contest, but expect the 49ers to eventually escape with the victory. They should be able to cover the 3.5 points that they are favored by, but the over is looking like the strongest bet in this game.

Las Vegas Raiders at Pittsburgh Steelers
September 19th – 1:00 pm ET – Heinz Field
The Las Vegas Raiders hosted the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night with few people expecting them to walk away with a win. They stunned Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens though with a brilliant performance that saw them pull off a crucial 33-27 win. Pittsburgh will present a much more daunting task though.
While many fans and journalists alike were quick to write off an aging Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers this season, they proved in week one that they are still a force to be reckoned with. The Steelers went into Buffalo and beat one of the AFC favorites with a defensive masterclass. Expect more of the same from them in week two when they host the Raiders.
Las Vegas demonstrated they are a better team than they have been given credit for, but they will likely struggle to keep up with the Steelers at Heinz Field. The hosts should be a lock to cover the spread with the under also looking like a decent option as well.

Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers
September 20th – 1:00 pm ET – Detroit at Green Bay
The Green Bay Packers were absolutely humiliated by the New Orleans Saints in the first week of the season, losing 38-3. Last year’s NFC Championship finalists came into the campaign with high expectations once Aaron Rodgers committed to stay in Wisconsin, but will need to show that they are still legitimate contenders.
The Detroit Lions began life with a new head coach and a new starting quarterback last week, but the results seemed to be the same for the franchise. They were downed 41-33 by the San Francisco 49ers, but still put up quite the fight late on in the game to keep it interesting. That is something we would not have seen from this team last year.
Despite their resiliency though, the Lions will be in tough on Monday night against a motivated Packers’ team. The home side enters the game as massive 11-point favorites, but it is easy to see why. While they didn’t put up a touchdown in week one against the Saints, expect them to make up for lost time with a big game against the Lions. Take Green Bay to cover with the over also looking enticing.

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins
September 19th– 1:00 pm ET – Hard Rock Stadium
The season wasn’t supposed to start this way for the Buffalo Bills who many had predicted to reach the Super Bowl. They were downed by the Pittsburgh Steelers at home in week one and will be desperate to pick up the victory in Miami against the Dolphins in week two.
The Dolphins lost to the Bills twice last year, but will be eager to play them on Sunday afternoon with the opportunity to move two games ahead of them so early in the season. They are in the hunt for their first AFC East division title since 2008 and their first playoff appearance since 2016.
The Dolphins are 3.5-point underdogs at home and while they may be a tempting option to take, the Bills should have a much better game than what we saw in week one against the Steelers. Josh Allen will not be shut down like he was in the second half and could be poised for a big game. Go with the visitors and over at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Houston Texans at Cleveland Browns
September 19th– 1:00 pm ET – FirstEnergy Stadium
The Cleveland Browns have made significant progress over the past couple of seasons, winning their first playoff game last year since 2002. They nearly knocked off the Super Bowl finalists in week one, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs 33-29. They are a force to be reckoned with though and could be real trouble for Houston on Sunday.
The Texans may have won their week one contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but they are still one of the worst teams in the AFC and going through transition. It remains to be seen whether they can outperform their expectations, but they will have a tough time against the Browns in Cleveland.
The Browns being 12.5-point favorites might scare off some betters, but the number isn’t as high as it seems. Cleveland will be able to score at will against the Texans and this game could be over by halftime. I’d go with the hosts to cover, while also laying money on the over as well.
