PLAYBETUSA’S NFL WEEK #15 PREDICTIONS, PICKS AND ODDS 2021

Arizona Cardinals at Detroit Lions

December 19th – 1:00 pm ET – Ford Field

After an impressive win over the Minnesota Vikings to earn their first victory of the year in week 13 of the NFL season, the Detroit Lions were humiliated in Denver in week 14 losing to the Broncos 38-10. They will be hoping to put in a better performance against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon but face a daunting task.

The Cardinals are just one game up on the Los Angeles Rams for first place in the NFC West after their loss on Monday night. They will be looking to get back to winning ways and prove they are still a top team in the league by picking up a big win on the road against the Lions in week 15.

The visitors enter Sunday afternoon’s contest as massive 13.5-point favorites but understandably so. They should have no issues disposing of the worst team in the entire NFL. The over is also worth backing.

Washington Football Team at Philadelphia Eagles

December 19th – 1:00 pm ET – Lincoln Financial Field

The Philadelphia Eagles find themselves with a 6-7 record and are currently sitting just outside the playoff picture in the NFC. However, a win over Washington on Sunday afternoon would certainly help them in the process of trying to get back to the postseason for the first time since 2019.

Washington are clinging on to the final Wild Card spot in the NFC, but also have a 6-7 record like the Eagles. They cannot afford a loss in Philadelphia if they are going to get back into the playoffs. They will be looking to take advantage of the Eagles’ abysmal home record this season, where Philadelphia is just 1-4 at Lincoln Financial Field.

This will be one of the most important matchups of the weekend with serious playoff implications. As a result, we should be in for an intense affair between to rivals that do not like each other. Despite their poor home record, the Eagles are 5.5-point favorites coming into the contest. However, expect the visitors to at least cover the spread if they do not win the game outright. The under also seems like a lock in this one.

New England Patriots at Indianapolis Colts

December 18th– 1:00 pm ET – Lucas Oil Stadium

The New England Patriots humiliated the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football in week 13 to solidify their spot atop the AFC East division and are now pursuing a first-round bye. Rookie quarterback Mac Jones and company are looking unstoppable at the moment and will be well prepared for the Colts on Saturday night as they are coming off of their bye week.

Indianapolis are fighting for their playoff lives as they sit two games behind the Tennessee Titans for first-place in the AFC South. They should be able to capture a Wild Card spot but need to start earning wins against top teams. They will be in tough against the Patriots though who are a perfect 6-0 on the road this season. The Colts have had issues playing at Lucas Oil Stadium this year and will need to find a way to perform on Saturday evening.

The home team are two-point favorites entering the game, but it seems shocking given how good New England has been over the past two months. Take the visitors to win the game outright on Saturday.

ODDS: Indianapolis (-2)

Carolina Panthers at Buffalo Bills

December 19th – 1:00 pm ET – Highmark Stadium

It’s been a frustrating campaign for the Buffalo Bills and their supporters who came into the season dreaming of a Super Bowl. Unfortunately, things haven’t exactly worked out as they planned, and the Bills are just fighting to get into the playoffs. After back-to-back losses against the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo will be a motivated side against the Carolina Panthers.

Carolina has lost three straight games and will be in tough against a superior Bills’ side in week 15. They sit dead last in the NFC South and won’t be making the playoffs this year. However, they have been a better team on the road than at home this season and will be looking to play spoiler in Buffalo on Sunday afternoon.

The home team are massive 10.5-point favorites and rightfully so. The Bills have destroyed weaker teams this year and will have a big game against the Panthers in week 15. Go with Buffalo to cover the spread in front of their own supporters.

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears

December 20th – 8:15 pm ET – Soldier Field

The Minnesota Vikings are just 2-5 on the road this season but need to get it together in a hurry if they are going to qualify for the playoffs. They currently sit just outside of the playoffs and need a win against the Bears if they have any chance of gaining a Wild Card spot.

The Chicago Bears are just hoping to have rookie quarterback Justin Fields available on Monday night after he suffered a bruised hand against the Green Bay Packers in week 14. Chicago are just 4-9 on the campaign with two victories at home. However, they would love nothing more than to upset their rivals and potentially ruin their chances of reaching the postseason. The Vikings come into the contest as modest 3.5-point favorites given their struggles away from U.S. Bank Stadium this year. However, they still should have no issues picking up the crucial victory on Monday night against the Bears and covering the spread in the process

ODDS: Minnesota (-3.5)
Over/Under: 44
