PLAYBETUSA’S NFL WEEK #10 PREDICTIONS, PICKS AND ODDS 2021

Detroit Lions at Pittsburgh Steelers

November 14th – 1:00 pm ET – Heinz Field

The Detroit Lions remain the only winless team in the NFL, but will be hoping that changes after Sunday’s contest in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. Detroit are coming off their bye week and will be well prepared for the game. Matthew Stafford is running out of time to prove he is a legitimate starter in the NFL and a win on Sunday would go a long way in helping his cause.

Unlike the Lions, the Steelers are coming off a short week after escaping with a win against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. The win was their fourth in a row though as they have finally started playing like the team that we expected to see coming into the campaign.

The home team are listed as massive favorites on Sunday afternoon and it isn’t difficult to see why, but the Lions could keep this game closer than most anticipate. Go with the visitors to cover the large spread, with the over also worth laying money on.

Philadelphia Eagles at Denver Broncos

November 14th – 4:25 pm ET – Empower Field at Mile High

The Denver Broncos stunned the world when they took down the Dallas Cowboys on the road last week in an impressive 30-16 victory. They now find themselves with a winning record at 5-4 and in the hunt for a division title. The win was their second in a row after losing four straight games and they will need to continue building momentum if they are to have any chance of claiming the competitive AFC West. They will be viewing Sunday afternoon’s game as a must-win.

The Eagles have just one win in their last four games and could be in for a long day against a motivated Broncos side. To make matters worse for Philadelphia, they could be without cornerback Darius Slay who sustained a hamstring injury in week nine against the Los Angeles Chargers. His status is questionable heading into Sunday’s game, but don’t be surprised to see him out of the lineup.

The home team are listed as three-point favorites heading into the contest and should have no issues covering the spread on home field.

ODDS: Denver (-3)

Buffalo Bills at New York Jets

November 14th– 1:00 pm ET – MetLife Stadium

The Buffalo Bills were considered a top Super Bowl contender heading into the campaign, but will be rather disappointed with how the season has gone thus far. While they remain atop the AFC East, they are just 5-3 after an embarrassing loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in week nine that saw them held without a touchdown against one of the worst defenses in the league. They will be looking to make things right by sending a message to the rest of the league with an emphatic win over the Jets at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

The Jets remain one of the worst teams in the league and will have a tough time keeping up with the Bills. However, their only two wins of the season have come against top teams in the AFC – the Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals – and they will not be intimidated by the Bills.

Take the Bills to cover the massive spread as they look to prove a point in week 10.

Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders

November 14th – 8:20 pm ET – Allegiant Stadium

The Kansas City Chiefs have won back-to-back games for the first time this season and are now 5-4 on the season. They are looking to win the division for a sixth straight season and potentially get back to the Super Bowl for the third consecutive year. However, they will need to prove they can get it done on a consistent basis as they have yet to do so this year. They are still one of the most feared teams in the league though and will want to demonstrate it in primetime on Sunday night.

The Las Vegas Raiders were upset by the New York Giants last week and given all the adversity they’ve had to deal with this season, it is hard not to have sympathy for the team. However, the Chiefs will be looking to take full advantage of the situation and the Raiders will be in for a long night as a result.

Go with the Chiefs to cover the 2.5 points on the road, with the over also looking like a great option.

Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers

November 15th – 8:15 pm ET – Levi’s Stadium

The Los Angeles Rams will be disappointed with their performance against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday night in week nine. Despite being without Derrick Henry, the Rams couldn’t keep up with the Titans and were humiliated in prime time. They will be looking to make amends on Monday evening when they visit the San Francisco 49ers. Matthew Stafford is currently listed as questionable though and it would be a massive blow for the Rams if the quarterback isn’t able to play.

The 49ers have been one of the biggest disappointments this season, but understand they still have time to turn their season around. With a 3-5 record though, they need to start picking up wins and Monday would be the perfect time to do so.

The visitors come into the contest as 4.5-point favorites and will like their chances in this one. The 49ers may keep the game competitive, but expect the Rams to ultimately break away and cover the spread.

ODDS: Los Angeles (-4.5)
Over/Under: 49
