PLAYBETUSA’S NFL DIVISIONAL WEEKEND PREDICTIONS, PICKS, AND ODDS

LOS ANGELES RAMS AT GREEN BAY PACKERS

January 16th – 4:35 pm ET – Lambeau Field

The Los Angeles Rams deserve a ton of credit for going into Seattle on Wild Card weekend and eliminating the Seahawks. Quarterback John Wolford was forced to leave the game in the first quarter after being injured on a run play. He did return from the hospital to celebrate with the team in the evening though so it doesn’t appear to be too serious of an injury.

Green Bay earned the NFC’s only bye last weekend and will be fresh for their game against the Rams. After an impressive season that saw them go 13-3, it would be a disaster if they did not get the job done against the Rams on Saturday afternoon.

Fortunately for Packers fans though, Aaron Rodgers continues to be one of the best quarterbacks on the planet and could be in for a big game against Los Angeles. Take the Packers to cover the spread on their home field with the over also looking like a strong bet.

PICKS: Green Bay

ODDS: Green Bay (-6.5)
Over/Under: 45.5

BALTIMORE RAVENS AT BUFFALO BILLS

January 16th – 8:15 pm ET – Bills Stadium

It was a closer contest than most Bills’ fans would have liked, but ultimately Buffalo squeaked past the Indianapolis Colts last weekend to end their playoff-win drought. They will be in tough against the Ravens on Saturday evening though.

Baltimore knocked off the Tennessee Titans on the road last weekend and will not be intimidated going into Buffalo. They have now won six straight games and are peaking at the perfect time.

The Bills proved to their fans and themselves that they can win when it really matters though last week and will be looking forward to the challenge presented by Baltimore. Go with the Bills to pick up a tight victory as they book their spot in the AFC Championship game. The over may also be worth laying money on considering how good both these teams have been offensively this season.

PICKS: Buffalo

ODDS: Buffalo (-7)
Over/Under: 50

CLEVELAND BROWNS AT KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

January 17th – 3:05 pm ET – Arrowhead Stadium

While some believed the Cleveland Browns could pick up their first playoff win since 1994 against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field last weekend, nobody thought they could win the way they did. The Browns dominated the Steelers, going up 28-0 by the end of the first half and never looking back. They will be hoping for a similar result in Kansas City this weekend.

The defending Super Bowl champions are as lethal as ever though, winning 14 games during the regular season with one of their losses coming in the final week when they opted to rest much of their roster. Expect the Chiefs to come out flying on Sunday after being off last weekend with a bye.

The Chiefs are massive favorites, but rightfully so considering how good they have been this year. They know what it takes to win a championship and should not have any issues against Cleveland. Take the home side to win big on their way back to the AFC Championship game.

ODDS: Kansas City (-10)
Over/Under: 56

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS AT NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

January 17th – 6:40 pm ET – Mercedes-Benz Superdome

Many were questioning Tom Brady’s decision to leave the New England Patriots after two decades, but the quarterback seems to have made the right choice. While his former team didn’t even make the postseason, Brady and the Buccaneers are rolling after a big win last weekend in Washington. Tampa Bay were big favorites in that game though and will not have it as easy against the Saints.

New Orleans finished with one more win during the regular season than their NFC South rivals, which is why they are hosting Sunday’s contest. They have just one home loss all season and beat Tampa Bay both times they met during the regular season.

Tom Brady always seems to save his best for when it really matters though and he could put on a clinic this weekend. Go with the Buccaneers to upset their hosts in what should be a tightly contested affair. The over should also be a lock in the final game of the weekend.

PICKS: Tampa Bay

ODDS: New Orleans (-3)
Over/Under: 51.5
