PHILADELPHIA 76ERS AT DETROIT PISTONS
January 25th – 7:00 pm ET –Little Caesars Arena
The Philadelphia 76ers have looked good to start the season and fans should be excited with what they’ve seen so far. There were plenty of questions about the team coming into the campaign, but they have answered most of them early on.
They have struggled against some of the league’s elite though in the Brooklyn Nets and Denver Nuggets, but they will not be playing a top side on Monday night.
Detroit is looking like one of the worst teams in the entire league at the moment as they sit in the basement of the Eastern Conference. They have been terrible at Little Caesars Arena and will be in for a long night against a good basketball team.
Joel Embiid and company should have no issues covering what will be a large spread, while the over is also looking like a wise wager whenever these two clubs meet.

LOS ANGELES LAKERS AT PHILADELPHIA 76ERS
January 27th – 7:30 pm ET – Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia
Lebron James proved all the doubters wrong last summer when he led the Los Angeles Lakers to their first NBA title since 2010. The Lakers were nearly unstoppable inside the NBA bubble in Orlando and have not slowed down at all since.
They have gotten off to a fantastic start to the season, winning 11 of their first 15 games and proving that despite the long playoff run, they are still a fresh and motivated team.
The 76ers will be looking forward to the challenge though considering how good they have been as well. However, for the most part they have feasted on weaker teams and still need to demonstrate they can beat a team as good as Los Angeles.
We should be in for a fun contest on Wednesday, but go with the experienced visitors to ultimately prevail and pick up a big win on the road.

MIAMI HEAT AT BROOKLYN NETS
January 25th – 7:30 pm ET – Barclays Center
The Brooklyn Nets were ousted in the first round of the playoffs last season by the Toronto Raptors, but are far from being the same team. Both superstars Kyrie Irvin and Kevin Durant were out injured and did not participate inside the NBA bubble at all.
They were both back for the start of the current campaign though and are finding their form in the Eastern Conference. The team went out and secured the services of James Harden ensuring that they are now the team to beat in the East. They beat the Milwaukee Bucks in a crucial contest to prove they are legitimate contenders.
The Miami Heat on the other hand have not been the same side since reaching the NBA final last season. They have struggled early in the campaign and will be in for a daunting task against Brooklyn.
The home team should win big on Monday night, with the over also worth laying money on.

LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS AT ATLANTA HAWKS
January 26th – 7:30 pm ET – Philips Arena
The Los Angeles Clippers were supposed to be a top team when they signed Kawhi Leonard and Paul George prior to the start of last season. Unfortunately, they were eliminated in just the second round of the playoffs this summer and have been on a mission since to prove they are serious contenders for the NBA’s most prestigious prize.
They head to Atlanta on Tuesday to play a Hawks’ side who have not been great to begin the year. The Hawks haven’t been terrible, but they are a mediocre team at best that will continuously struggle against superior competition.
Expect to see Leonard and George put on a show at Philips Arena as they look more motivated than ever. Take the visitors to win big, but the under may be the best bet as the Hawks could struggle to put up points.

GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS AT PHOENIX SUNS
January 28th – 9:00 pm ET – Talking Stick Resort Arena
Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors are still adjusting to life without Klay Thompson, but have plenty of firepower to terrify opposing teams nonetheless. While they are no longer the team that went to five straight NBA finals, they are still an experienced side that are capable of putting up points at will.
Phoenix has gotten off to a fast start though and are fully aware of how important these early season contests are for playoff positioning later on in the campaign. The Suns have already picked up important wins this season against the Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz and will be looking for another one on Thursday night against the Warriors.
The visitors may not be the powerhouse they once were, but they are still a very good basketball club and one that will be hoping to have a big night in Phoenix. Go with the visitors to pull off an important victory.

SACRAMENTO KINGS AT TORONTO RAPTORS
January 29th – 7:30 pm ET – Amelie Arena
The 2019 NBA champions haven’t exactly gotten off to the start that they had envisioned coming into the campaign. While they did not have the same expectations placed on them as in previous seasons, they were still supposed to be a top team in the Eastern Conference capable of reaching the NBA final.
That has not been the case early in the season though as they have struggled to adjust to life in their new home of Tampa Bay. They have the experience and skill to turn things around, but will need to do so sooner than later if they are going to get into the playoffs.
Fortunately for the Raptors, Sacramento has been even worse and should not present too much of a problem if the Raptors are playing like they are capable of. Go with the home team to get a much needed win on Friday evening in Tampa Bay.
