Detroit Lions at Atlanta Falcons
December 26th – 1:00 pm ET – Mercedes-Benz Stadium
The Detroit Lions pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the current NFL campaign when they took down NFC leaders the Arizona Cardinals 30-12 at Ford Field in week 15. They have now won two of their last three games and will believe in their chances against Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. They have yet to win a game on the road this season though.
Much like the Lions, Atlanta do not have much to play for these days, as they find themselves 6-8 in the NFC South. While they still do have an outside shot of reaching the playoffs, they will likely to need win the remainder of their games and need a big result against Detroit on Sunday. They have had issues playing at home this year though, with a 1-5 record in front of their own fans.
The hosts come into the contest as four-point favorites and should be able to cover the spread. They will be desperate for a win.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Kansas City Chiefs
December 26th – 4:25 pm ET – Arrowhead Stadium
The Pittsburgh Steelers will be fighting for their playoff lives when they travel to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday afternoon to play the Kansas City Chiefs. The Steelers are coming off a massive victory over the Tennessee Titans in week 15, but still find themselves in the basement of the AFC North. A win against the Chiefs would not only help them send a signal of intent to the rest of the league, but also put them in a much better position to get back to the postseason.
The Chiefs have won seven consecutive games heading into week 16 of the campaign, as they now sit atop the AFC with home-field advantage throughout the playoffs within their grasp. If they can find a way to win their final three games of the season, they will be guaranteed a first-round bye and home-field advantage all the way through to the Super Bowl.
Kansas City are favored by double digits on Sunday afternoon, but with good reason. Go with the home team to cover the spread in what should be an entertaining contest. The over also looks like a smart bet.

Indianapolis Colts at Arizona Cardinals
December 25th– 8:15 pm ET – University of Phoenix Stadium
The Indianapolis Colts have been one of the hottest teams in the AFC in recent weeks and are now just one game back of the Tennessee Titans for top spot in the AFC South. They took down the New England Patriots in week 15 and will be up for the challenge presented by the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday. Indianapolis are 4-2 on the road this season and have proven they can perform away from home.
The Cardinals were shocked by the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in week 15 and will be eager to prove it was just a fluke when they welcome the Colts to town on Christmas Day. Arizona are in a tight battle with the Los Angeles Rams for first place in the NFC West and need a win against the Colts.
The Cardinals are slight favorites at home, but the Colts have been the much more convincing side in recent weeks. Go with the visitors to pull off another important victory on the road and win the game outright at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots
December 26th – 1:00 pm ET – Gillette Stadium
The Buffalo Bills head to New England to play the Patriots in one of the most important games of the week in the NFL. The Bills trail the Patriots by just a single game heading into week 16 and a win could put them right back into pole position for a second consecutive AFC East title. A loss though would surely hand the division back to the Patriots after they dominated it for two decades.
New England beat the Bills in Buffalo earlier this month but were left in the dust by the Indianapolis Colts in week 15. They would love nothing more than to get back to winning ways and knock off a rival but will be up against a side eager to prove they are a better team than we saw in week 13.
The Patriots enter the contest as slight 2.5-point favorites over the Bills, but take the visitors to cover the spread. Buffalo may even go on to win the game outright.

Washington Football Team at Dallas Cowboys
December 26th – 8:20 pm ET – AT&T Stadium
Washington Football Team didn’t have the highest expectations coming into the campaign, but many believed they had a chance to repeat as NFC East division winners if they were able to get things going. Unfortunately, they find themselves barely hanging on to hope of reaching the postseason heading into week 16 of the season.
Dallas, on the other hand, have an opportunity to clinch the NFC East with a victory over Washington on Sunday night. They will be eager to solidify top spot and begin to focus on the playoffs. While they still do have a shot at finishing first in the NFC and clinching an opening-round bye, it’ll be difficult to keep up with the likes of the Green Bay Packers for the remainder of the campaign.
The Cowboys should have no issues picking up the win in front of their home fans at AT&T Stadium on Sunday night, but Washington proved just a few weeks ago they can compete with Dallas and will look to keep the game close. Go with the visitors to cover the large 10.5-point spread in Texas.
PICKS: Washington
ODDS: Dallas (-10.5)
Over/Under: 47.5
