PHILADELPHIA EAGLES AT GREEN BAY PACKERS
December 6th – 4:25 pm ET – Lambeau Field
The Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive woes under Carson Wentz have been well documented, but their defense has been able to keep them in games this season. Their loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night football was evidence of that, as the defense nearly stole them a game, they had no business winning.
It is for that reason why they should be worth backing on Sunday against a very good Green Bay side. The Packers have been dominant for most of the campaign and have won three of their last four games. They should be able to pick up their ninth win of the season on Sunday against the Eagles, but it could be closer than the bookmakers are predicting.
The Eagles won’t win outright this weekend, but go with the visitors to cover the points with the under also worth laying money on.

DETROIT LIONS AT CHICAGO BEARS
December 6th – 1:00 pm ET – Soldier Field
The Chicago Bears were left embarrassed last Sunday evening by the Green Bay Packers after Aaron Rodgers and company had their way with them. They have the opportunity to redeem themselves against another NFC North rival in the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon in a game they must win if they have any chance at making the postseason.
They now sit at 5-6 after losing five straight games and are desperate to turn their season around after starting so hot. This may be their best chance to snap their losing skid and come into the contest as 3-point favourites because of it.
The Lions will not be a pushover though, after dropping their last two consecutive games as well. Ultimately, the home side should be able to pick up a win despite their recent struggles. Take the Bears to cover the three points as they get themselves back to a .500 record.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS AT HOUSTON TEXANS
December 6th– 1:00 pm ET – NRG Stadium
The Houston Texans have been one of the biggest disappointments this season after nearly reaching the AFC Championship game last season. They sit in third place in the division with a 4-7 record and have all been eliminated from postseason contention.
They are coming off back-to-back wins for the first time all season though and will be looking forward at the opportunity to derail a rival. However, the Colts have looked like legitimate contenders in the AFC and will not be scared heading into Sunday’s contest.
As moderate three-point favourites against the Texans, Indianapolis is worth backing despite their loss to the Titans last weekend. They will be eager to put the loss behind them and are a better team than Houston. The over is also worth looking at given how both these teams can run up the score when needed.

DENVER BRONCOS AT KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
December 5th – 8:20 pm ET – Arrowhead Stadium
The Denver Broncos had to start a rookie wide receiver at quarterback last weekend after all of their actual quarterbacks were ruled out of the game. They did not follow COVID protocols and paid the price dearly in an embarrassing loss.
It remains to be seen who will start for them on Sunday evening against the Chiefs, but either way it shouldn’t make too much of a difference. The defending Super Bowl champions have one of the most potent offences in the entire league and will be looking to do all kinds of damage against a division rival.
They enter the game as massive 14-point favourites but even that may be too low. The Chiefs should be a lock at home against Denver, covering the large spread easily. The total is set quite reasonably, but it could prove to be a trap. Don’t expect the Broncos to put up too many points – avoid the over/under.

BUFFALO BILLS AT SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
December 7th– 8:15 pm ET – University of Phoenix Stadium
The Monday night battle between the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers has been moved to the home of the Arizona Cardinals – the University of Phoenix Stadium – because of a new ban in Santa Clara County banning all contact sports. The ban was put into place for three weeks, meaning the 49ers are now allowed to play at Levi’s Stadium.
This shouldn’t affect things too much as the Bills still need to travel cross-country to play the 49ers. They come into the contest as 2.5-point favourites after a big win at home against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. They now sit at 8-3 and will like their chances against a struggling 49ers’ team that has just one win in their last four games.
With the spread set relatively low, take Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills to earn another important win on Monday night.

WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM AT PITTSBURGH STEELERS
December 7th – 5:00 pm ET – Heinz Field
This game has been moved to Monday evening as a result of Pittsburgh having to play the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday due to their COVID outbreak.
Despite the short week though, the Steelers should not have any issues against Washington. Pittsburgh remains the NFL‘s only undefeated team and have been stellar both at home and away from Heinz Field.
Washington has won two consecutive games for the first time all season and actually have a chance of winning the NFC East with no teams in the division posing a winning record. Expect that two-game winning streak to be snapped on Monday evening though.
Pittsburgh is just too good of a football team at the moment and should be unstoppable until home field advantage is clinched throughout the playoffs. Go with the home side to pick up another victory and remain undefeated.

ODDS: Pittsburgh (-7)
