PLAYBETUSA’S NFL WEEK #12 PREDICTIONS, PICKS, AND ODDS

BALTIMORE RAVENS AT PITTSBURGH STEELERS

December 1st – 8:00 pm ET – Heinz Field

This clash between two AFC heavyweights was originally scheduled to be the prime-time Thanksgiving affair on Thursday, but with Baltimore experiencing a COVID-19 outbreak, the league decided to push it back to Tuesday night.

Baltimore will have a severely depleted squad heading into Pittsburgh with running backs Mark Ingram and JK Dobbins as well as offensive lineman Matt Skura and Pa Makari all testing positive. The Ravens were already dealing with several injuries to their offensive line and it remains to be seen who Lamar Jackson will be lining up behind at Heinz Field.

Pittsburgh has been the best team in the NFL so far this season and expect them to improve to 11-0 on home field against a weakened Ravens’ side. Avoid wagering on the total though as it will be a rather unpredictable contest given the circumstances.

PICKS: Pittsburgh

ODDS: Pittsburgh (-4)
Over/Under: 45

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS AT PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

November 30th– 8:15 pm ET – Lincoln Financial Field

The Seattle Seahawks are in a tight race with the Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals for top spot in the NFC West. They will enter Monday’s contest knowing that they need a win in order to keep up with their division rivals.

Philadelphia only has three wins and a tie on the campaign, but two of those wins and the draw came at home at Lincoln Financial Field. The Eagles will be looking forward to playing at home again after two consecutive losses on the road to the New York Giants and Cleveland Browns.

The Seahawks are coming off a big win last week against the Cardinals and will be full of confidence against a struggling Eagles’ side. The spread is quite reasonable to 5 and Seattle should have no issues covering it.

While the Seahawks can put up points at will, expect this to be lower scoring contest than we are typically used to seeing from them. Take the visitors and the under.

ODDS: Seattle (-5)
Over/Under: 50

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS AT BUFFALO BILLS

November 29th– 1:00 pm ET – Bills Stadium

The Buffalo Bills were off last weekend but caught a huge break with the Denver Broncos upsetting the Miami Dolphins. As a result, the Bills remain in first place in the AFC East and will be hungry to avenge their loss to the Cardinals two weeks ago when they host the Chargers on Sunday afternoon.

Buffalo has only lost once this season at home and should have no issues disposing of the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers on the other hand only have one win on the road and that came back in week one against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Buffalo will be chomping at the bit to get back onto the field and this game could get ugly for the Chargers in a hurry if Josh Allen is at his best. Take the home team to cover the 5.5 points they are favoured by, but go with the over in what could be a rather high-scoring affair.

ODDS: Buffalo (-5.5)

CLEVELAND BROWNS AT JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

November 29th– 1:00 pm ET – EverBank Field

The Jacksonville Jaguars weren’t expected to do a whole lot coming into the campaign, but they have proven themselves to be one of the worst teams in the NFL. After a shocking win against the Indianapolis Colts in the first week of the season, the Jaguars have lost nine straight and that will likely change to 10 straight after the Browns visit EverBank Field on Sunday afternoon.

The Browns are fighting for second spot in the competitive AFC North, with catching the Steelers looking out of reach. However, they could possibly move two games up on the Ravens with a victory on Sunday and will be looking forward to the opportunity.

While the Browns have not been the same team on the road as they have been at home, they should still make short work of an abysmal Jaguars’ team. Go with the visitors to cover the 6.5 points.

PICKS: Cleveland

ODDS: Cleveland (-6.5)
Over/Under: 49

ARIZONA CARDINALS AT NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

November 29th– 1:00 pm ET – Gillette Stadium

The New England Patriots have been one of the most inconsistent teams in the NFL and sit at 4-6 as a result. The franchise isn’t used to having a losing record but with Tom Brady gone, they are still adjusting to life under Cam Newton.

They will likely be missing out on the postseason for the first time since 2008 but will not go down without a fight. The Arizona Cardinals will have had plenty of time to prepare though after losing to the Seattle Seahawks last Thursday.

This could be a tightly contested affair, but the Cardinals are fighting for their playoff lives and should be the hungrier of the two teams. They already have three wins on the road this season and will not be affected to much by the travel. Go with the visitors to cover the modest 2.5 points as they improve their record to 7-4.

PICKS: Arizona

ODDS: Arizona (-2.5)
Over/Under: 49.5
