MIAMI HURRICANES AT VIRGINIA TECH HOKIES

Saturday November 14th – 12:00 pm ET –
Lane Stadium/Worsham Field

Despite a superior record and having won their last three straight games, the Miami Hurricanes enter Saturday’s contest as a 1.5-point underdog. They’ve lost just one game this season thus far and that came at the hands of the number four-ranked Clemson Tigers.

Miami is currently ranked ninth in the nation and will like their chances of taking down Virginia Tech on Saturday – even if the bookmakers don’t agree with them.

We should be in for a high-scoring affair as both teams are quite capable of piling on the points when needed. Miami has at least 30 points in five of the seven games they’ve played this season, while Virginia Tech has put up at least 30 points in six of the seven games they’ve featured in.

Take the visitors to pick up an important victory on the road, with the over worth laying money on as well.

OHIO STATE BUCKEYES AT MARYLAND TERRAPINS

Saturday November 14 – 3:30 pm ET – Byrd Field

The Ohio State Buckeyes have been cruising to start the season, sitting at 3-0 after picking up impressive victories against Nebraska, Penn State and Rutgers.

Justin Fields has proven he is an elite quarterback by leading one of the most explosive offenses in the entire country. Heading into his fourth game of the year, Fields has more touchdowns (13) then he does incompletions (11) as the Buckeyes continue to terrorize opposing defenses.

They come into Saturday afternoon’s contest as massive 25.5-point favourites, but that should be no surprise considering they’ve won all three games this season by double-digits.

While Maryland have looked pretty good early on, they will be in for a long day against a team looking to win a national championship. Take the Buckeyes to cover the spread but stick with the under as it remains to be seen how many points the Terrapins will be able to put up.

ILLINOIS FIGHTING ILLINI AT RUTGERS SCARLET KNIGHTS

Sunday November 14 – 12:00 pm ET – High Point Solutions Stadium

Neither one of these sides will boast a winning record when they come into High Point Solutions Stadium on Saturday, but at least one team is still dreaming of winning silverware this year.

Rutgers haven’t looked great since they took down Michigan State in their first game of the season. Since, they’ve lost two consecutive contests, but they were up against the number 10-ranked Indiana and number three=ranked Ohio State.

While Illinois did have to play the number 13-ranked Wisconsin, they haven’t had the same level of competition as Rutgers has. The Scarlet Knights are the better football team and should have no issues covering the 6.5-points they are favoured to win by.

The total is set rather low at 51.5, but Illinois has only put up more than 20 points once this season and Rutgers hasn’t been able to reach 30 points once this year. Go with the under.

ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS AT FLORIDA GATORS

Sunday November 14 – 7:00 pm ET – Ben Hill Griffin Stadium

The Florida Gators enter Saturday’s contest with a stellar 4-1 record. Their one blemish came against the fifth-ranked team in the country Texas A&M in a tight affair. However, they proved last week why they continue to be ranked in the top ten by taking down the Georgia Bulldogs at EverBank Field.

They are 17.5-point favourites against the Razorbacks, but it isn’t difficult to see why. Arkansas hasn’t been able to beat a top 25 ranked team in three attempts this season and won’t be able to topple the Gators either.

However, this game could be closer than most anticipate. Arkansas managed to keep the game competitive against Texas A&M and only lost by two points against Auburn earlier in the year.

While Florida should improve to 5-1 on the campaign, go with the visitors to cover the spread. Avoid the rather unpredictable total.

ODDS: Florida (-17.5)
Over/Under: 62.5

NOTRE DAME FIGHTING IRISH AT BOSTON COLLEGE EAGLES

Sunday November 14 – 3:30 pm ET – BC Alumni Stadium

The Fighting Irish have not claimed a national championship since 1988, but that could change this year with the way they have been playing. With a crucial overtime victory against the fourth ranked Clemson Tigers last week, Notre Dame cemented their spot as true title contenders.

They take on an Eagles’ side who will be confident heading into Saturday. They are 5-3 and have lived up to expectations coming into the season. They couldn’t get the job done against Clemson like Notre Dame did, but they did manage to keep it to within six points. They will be hoping to do one better and pull off the upset in front of limited spectators.

The Fighting Irish at 13.5-point favourites on the road against Boston College, which is understandable given their run of form. However, the Eagles will be desperate to put up a strong performance against a rival and should be able to keep this one competitive at the very least. Take the home side to cover the points.

ODDS: Notre Dame(-13.5)
Over/Under: 49.5
